"Stagger Lee," also known as "Stagolee" and other variants, is a popular American folk song first released in 1929. Lloyd Price recorded an R&B rendition of the song titled "Stagger Lee" in 1958. His version topped the Billboard Hot 100 on February 9, 1959, a position it held for 4 weeks.
