"You Belong to Me" is a popular music ballad from the 1950s. Jo Stafford version was releaed on July 18, 1952. In the US the song was #1 on Best Sellers in Stores Chart from September 13 1952 and remained for 5 weeks. It reached No. 1 on UK singles chart for a week on January 16 1953. Stafford became the first female singer to top the UK Singles Chart.
