"This Ole House" is an American popular song written by Stuart Hamblen, and published in 1954. In 1981, Welsh singer Shakin' Stevens covered it for his album of the same name. The song was released in February 20, 1981, and became very successful, topping the UK Singles Chart in March 28, 1981, remanining the top for three weeks.
