"Rock Lobster" is a song written by Fred Schneider and Ricky Wilson, for it band the B-52's. It was released on April 1978 as the lead single from their debut studio album The B-52's (1979). The song reached No. 56 on the Billbaord Hot 100 on May 24, 1980.
