"It Must Have Been Love" is a song written by Per Gessle and performed by the Swedish pop duo Roxette. It was released on December 2, 1987. The song gained even greater success with a slightly edited version, which omitted the Christmas references and was created for the soundtrack of the 1990 film Pretty Woman.
