"Kitty" is a song originally performed by British pop group Racey, which was included on their debut studio album Smash and Grab in 1979; American singer and choreographer Toni Basil covered the song under the title "Mickey" for her debut studio album, Word of Mouth, released two years later in 1981. The single scored number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 for one week on December 11 and number two in the UK Singles Chart.
