It was released on March 9, 1998, as the second single from his fourth studio album, Vuelve (1998). The song peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Hot Latin on May 2, 1998, also on the Vitrola Stereo's TOP15 on June 13, 1998. English version "The Cup Of Life" peaked at number 45 on the Billboard Hot 100 on August 7, 1999.
