"Boom Boom" is a song written by American blues singer and guitarist John Lee Hooker and first recorded in 1961. It was released as a single in April 1962 and peaked at number 60 on the Billboiard Hot 100 on July 21, 1962. The song was included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's list of "The Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll".
