"Stay" is a song by UK-based pop act Shakespears Sister, released on January 13, 1992 as the second single from their second album, "Hormonally Yours" (1992). It became the duo's first and only number-one single. It topped the UK Singles Chart on February 22, 1992 and remained on the top for eight consecutive weeks. In the US it reached No. 4 on both the Billboard Hot 100.
