"The Loco-Motion" is a 1962 pop song written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King. American rock band Grand Funk Railroad recorded a cover version of the song, that was released in May 1974 and peaked at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart for two weeks from May 4, 1974.
