"Take Me in Your Arms (Rock Me a Little While)" is a song written by Holland–Dozier–Holland and first hit recording was sung by Kim Weston in 1965. The Doobie Brothers recorded a cover version for their fifth studio album Stampede (1975). Their version was released on April 23, 1975, as the lead single from the album and peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 on June 21, 1975.
