Searching For Sugar Man , the original motion picture soundtrack album from the Academy Award winning documentary, has sold more than 500,000 copies around the world.

An anthology of originally overlooked songs written and performed by Rodriguez in 1969-71, the Searching For Sugar Man soundtrack provides a powerful introduction to an uncompromising musical visionary.

The film and its soundtrack have generated a resurgence of interest in the music of Rodriguez, who has been performing extensively since the movie's release with concert dates in North America, Europe, South Africa and Australia.  He recently played New York City with fall concerts at the Barclays Center and Radio City Music Hall.
