"La Tortura" (English: "The Torture") is a song by the Colombian singer Shakira, featuring Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz. It is from Shakira's sixth studio album, Fijación Oral, Vol. 1 (2005). The song was released on April 13, 2005, and reached the number 23 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 on September 24, 2005. On June 4 of the same year, it topped the Hot Latin chart and remained at the top for 25 weeks.
