"Enjoy the Silence" is a song by the English electronic music band Depeche Mode. It was released on February 5, 1990, as the second single from their seventh studio album, "Violator" (1990). The single is certified Gold in the US and Germany. The song won the Best British Single award at the 1991 Brit Awards. It peaked at the number 8 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 on July 14, 1990.
