"Zombie" is a protest song by Irish alternative rock band the Cranberries. It was released on September 19, 1994 by Island Records as the lead single from their second studio album, No Need to Argue (1994). The song did not chart on the Billboard Hot 100 but topped the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart on October 29, 1994, a position it held for 6 weeks. In the UK it peaked at number 14 on October 8, 1994. On vitrola Stereo's TOP15 it reached number 2 on May 6, 1995.
