"Stop! In the Name of Love" is a 1965 song recorded by the Supremes. The song was released in February 8, 1965 as the first single of their sixth album, More Hits by The Supremes. The single reached the number one position on the Billboard Hot 100 in March 27, 1965 and stay in top for 2 weeks. Billboard named the song #38 on their list of 100 Greatest Girl Group Songs of All Time.
