"I Think We're Alone Now" is a song written and composed by Ritchie Cordell that was the title selection from a same-named album released by the American recording artists Tommy James and the Shondells. It was re-popularized when American pop singer Tiffany covered the song when she was 15 for her eponymous debut studio album, which was released in August 1987. Her version of the song spent two weeks at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, from November 7 1987.
