"Footloose" is a song by American singer-songwriter Kenny Loggins. It was co-written by Kenny Loggins amd Dean Pitchford. The single was released in January 11, 1984, as the first from the album album Footloose: Original Soundtrack of the Paramount Motion Picture. The song spent three weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, from March 31, 1984, becoming Loggins' only chart-topper.
